i want transform python script in executable file. why, want install py2exe when try install file "py2exe-0.6.9.win32-py2.7.exe", got message "python version 2.7 required, not found in registry"
i suspect py2exe not finding python.exe file (it ask me python directory cannot enter anything). python 2.7.9 installed on laptop in file mydocuments (and cannot not move path)! use windows 8.

just unpack exe tool 7-zip , can run py2exe resulting folder.
