i want create reddit 'novelty' account bot better coding/scripting skills. want make simple bot searches new or rising links on reddit , looks @ comments in each thread. if text matches string of characters, bot replies message.
i know general question, i'm looking tips on scripting/programming language use. have experience java , selenium along r , little bit of batch. willing learn new language (i have lot of free time). goal of bot isn't difficult, if had learn new language don't think difficult.
most reddit bots made called praw. use python when creating praw. python shouldn't hard learn if know java.
