i wanted test arduino midi example code: https://www.arduino.cc/en/tutorial/midi tried 9v 500ma ac/dc adapter, , used midi-usb cable midi messages software (hauptwerk). when arduino's usb cable connected computer (the midi-usb cable connected too) worked fine, when tried adapter , plugged out arduino's usb cable, software didn't received midi messages. serial communication used tx-pin in tutorial.
