we considering upgrade our sonarqube instances 4.5.1 version 5.1.1 version , per release 5.1 upgrade notes, noticed warning:
large instance warning sonarqube 5.0, large instances (> 5m issues or > 25m lines) should not move version.
we have more 50m lines of code, # of issues less 5m issues.
what impact of warning our upgrade 5.1.1. restrictions removed in 5.2 version of sonarqube?
we seeing huge performance issues during sonar reports analysis, performed sonar server in 5.1.1
are these performance issues related above warning? please advise how proceed.
yes, warning ability support millions of issues , source lines in reliable , performant way. limitation fixed next lts version (probably 5.4). not known yet if fixed earlier (5.2 or 5.3).
