i working on bulk apps, , of apps android platform 4+ , per knowledge 99% of latest phones have 1080p or 720p screens, necessary add low dpi icons ? if add xhdpi icons .. ?
will work ? support devices or not work on 1% small screen devices ?
please guide
@nk, 1) first of date (july 2015) there still large number of devices dpi of less 720p. source information biased. google's numbers bias how many android 2.x still available.
2) google recommends use other dpi other devices. scale down, might have side effects.
3) here alternative has posted. link create other dpi icons , splash screens.
