windows - I am editing mouse settings in the registry but they seem to do nothing -

i have made program change mouse sensivity in same way can control panel. changes made in registry, keys @ hkey_current_user\control panel\mouse , in fact done (i have checked them regedit.exe) mouse works if changes not made. in other words, changes not take effect, if use control panel. why not take effect?

windows registry isn't refreshed time. changes made applied after current user (that's why it's hkey_current_user) logs in again, or said after using control panel, read registry. don't know, language program written in, should check out link: "https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms724947.aspx"
