c# - Visual Studio registration takes me to a 404.htm -

i have windows 8.1, , downloaded visualstudio 2012 express windows desktop.

a message shows saying:

"this product expire in 30 day(s) registration required continued use of microsoft visual studio express 2012 windows desktop" 

then have disabled button saying "next", editbox should enter registration code (probably) , link "register online". if click "register online" link taken login page, authenticate myself fine. , redirected page "http://www.microsoft.com/404.htm" says:

"we sorry, page requested cannot found.      url may misspelled or page you're looking no longer available." 

• the link opens in internetexplorer. made default work
• i disabled avast antivirus nopt issue.
• i wrote support knows when answer, , need work now.
• in internet explorer disabled protected mode, still no result. (of course of above done after tried make work directly without tweaks)

what should do?

i must attend codility interview in few hours, , need ide work, not have rely on online ide lacks many things.

this issue not have browser, or computer.

a 404 error means page trying access not exist on microsoft's servers. therefore problem not you, either microsoft, or software using.

you either search registration page on microsoft's website, or maybe version of 'visual studio express 2012 windows desktop' out of date , sending old link. you try re-downloading it. edit: don't re-download it, see below!

if worst comes worst, try using more recent - , better - version of visual studio (i use 2015 version, , it's free!).
