is possible down-cast mermodlmertest objects lmertest mermod objects in lme4? have number of use cases need toggle between formats.
according lmertest docs:
the mermodlmertest contains mermod class of lme4 package , overloads anova , summary functions.
however, can't figure out how inheritance works.
