internet explorer - Test Wordpress on Windows / IE with virtual machine -

i'm on mac computer, , i need test wordpress website on ie / windows. have vms (virtual box) can job, i need site url same localhost url (as it's wordpress configuration).

so, read articles , here's i've done far :

my conf :

localhost:8888/myproject (mamp server) 

on windows (vm) host file :

192.168.0.20    localhost 

assuming 192.168.0.20 local address of mamp server on mac. saved host file, nothing happens, ie can't find document. when go directly 192.168.0.20 can see project without assets (no images, css, etc.).

any ideas ?

well, asked : appears windows take time apply changes made in host file (about 5 minutes).
