i have dashboard line chart , few bar charts. there parameter controls date ranges , customers @ top. issue have whenever change 1 of parameters, bar charts lose sort order. has been able correct sort applied after parameter selection? can provide!
edit: should have specified trying sort measure value. have 5 measures , them resort descending after parameter selection.
are sorting date or customer?
if you're sorting date, make sure have actual date column on shelf rather parameter. also, make sure tableau seeing both date , date parameter "date" data type , not strings.
if you're sorting customer, right-click date on shelf , make sure sort set correct field , aggregation screenshot below.
if of still doesn't work, there's option set sort manually.
