dynamics crm - Configuring CRM with an Exchange Server outside O365 using SSS -

i have requirement need configure crm online exchange server hosted out of organization's office 365 sync emails incoming , outgoing profiles.

of steps, understand need setup , email server profile of type exchange has server location pointing exchange server have been using currently. however, error saying configuration invalid , don't save incoming , outgoing server locations. also, need authentication same? if yes, of whom should be? current incoming , outgoing set url. (without '/ews/exchange.asmx' used default hosting on o365.

supported email service configurations server-side synchronization

crm online supports server side synchronization with:

• exchange online in same tenant in office365 (mail, tasks, etc.)

• gmail or yahoo! mail via pop3/smtp (mail only)

anything else not (yet¹) supported.
