I need advice about Magento hosting -

can propose hosting solution magento requirements:

i have store in magento more 6000 skus. configurable products not many have lot of attributes. 3 attributes each configurable. 1 configurable can have 1000 associated products.

i struggling provider gives me problems. plan have server vps1 http://www.clausweb.ro/pachet_vps.php. nothing works there far.

i've talked hostgator support , proposed me standard dedicated server find expensive.

does magento needs many resources? should change shopify?

not sure if right place ask little desperate. far pay solution not work.
