Is it possible to have JavaScript alert() notification limited to a tab instead of the whole browser? -

am exploring possibility of having javascript alert notification limited tab in ie.

you use dialog instead , show notification without ugly alert() message bit out of fashion.

using modal option add overlay on page acting kind of old alert.
